Maybe you've noticed that Cornerstone has a few different oddly-named social groups of like ages in which many of us meet and fellowship. Following is an elaboration on each group, where the name comes from (they’re not Pokemon creatures) and the general ages or characteristics of individuals who make up each group.

JAASIELS
Origin: Hebrew, means “God Makes.” (1 Chron. 27:21).
Make up: Mostly 30-somethings, many with families.
Contact: Jeff and Vicki Westphal

ADRIELS
Origin: Son of Barzillai the Meholathite (2 Sam. 21:8).
Make up: Mostly 40-somethings with families.
Contact: Nancy Brown

SHENS
Origin: Old Testament city near Mizpah (1 Sam. 7:12).
Make up: Mostly those in their 50s, 60s and some 70s.
Contact: Dick Goldner

There are also social opportunities for junior high, high school, and college/career ages ages as well (contact Randy & Shari Nesbit or Kyle Clarkson for details). Ages listed indicate the current majority in the group, but anyone is welcome to fellowship with any group regardless of age. Members of the groups listed stay with their group as they collectively age rather than graduating to the next group.
